Branch 110 is now Branch20 and TikiWiki 2.0 is now released. See release notes (external link).

Dev.Tikiwiki.org is the place for users to Report a Bug and developers to plan new features. If you are a first time user then you are strongly advised to read How to Submit a new item on the Wishlist before submitting a bug or feature request. The information on that page will help you to understand what the different fields mean and what to include in your submission.

The development of TikiWiki CMS/Groupware is done in a collaborative fashion by a friendly community of several hundred contributors. If you are new to open source projects or just new to Tiki, please start with TikiDevNewbie.

This site is TikiWiki's community development space. This site will focus on all todo lists (bugs, requests for enhancements, etc).

Please notice!
To create an account, register an account on http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-register.php (external link), the accounts are usable instantly on many *.tikiwiki.org domains, with same login and password. More even, the cookie being .tikiwiki.org, you should not have to re-login if you are already logged into tikiwiki.org (if you use the remember me feature). Your bug reports and requests for enhancements are greatly appreciated here !

Tiki bugs and wishlist

This is also an opportunity to DogFood our tracker feature which is used for the bugs.

Tiki strives to become a powerful Open Source Wiki / Content Management System / Groupware / etc. Most community members are using Tiki for purposes other than open source software development. We therefore want to have a powerful tracker system for whatever you need (tasks bugs, inventory, whatever!). Experience has shown us that the best way to develop robust software is when the developers eat their own DogFood.

There are some features in TikiWiki which provide some advantages over Sourceforge tracker. For example:
  1. Possible to assign a tracker to one or many categories. (ex.: a bug affects the css in forums, do we put in forums or in css category?). Also, it is possible to use the same category system as for the other features (wiki pages, articles, forums, etc) of your site.
  2. Then, tracker items are available in all appropriate Keywords pages
  3. We are testing the new tracker rating system so users can easily give feedback on how important they think a specific todo item is. This feedback will help the community have better information about itself.
  4. Takes advantage of Tiki's transversal features (search, etc)
  5. It's Free Software! Join the community and enhance the Tiki trackers with what YOU need! ()

keywords

The following is a list of tikiwiki keywords that should serve as hubs for navigation within the tiki development and should correspond to documentation keywords

Each feature in Tiki has a wiki page which regroups all the bugs, requests for enhancements, etc. It is somewhat a form of wiki-based project management. You can also express your interest in a feature by adding it to your profile. You can also try out the Dynamic filter.
